Yup, why is it that the advertising we see targeted at over 40s women are all focused on repairing us (bladders, wrinkles etc), aiming to restore us to some former 20 something ness. Surely we have more focus in our life, and focus for our spending then this?
Absolutely. They are missing a trick by assuming we want to look and feel like a 20 year old when we don't give a stuff about that. We're where the money is at - plus we're guiding our children on a lot of their spending decisions too. May have something to do with the male lens bias inherent in the advertising industry....just saying ;-)
I'm sure that's the case! But also women too may be stuck in a mindset that we need to 'fix' ourselves and therefore push these products too. I've always been surprised how sexist women can be towards themselves!

It's ingrained isn't it? I find myself doing it all the time and have to check myself. More reason to being sharing our real life stories I guess x
